The Honeywell Cabin Control App serves as a Wi-Fi-based universal remote control solution specifically designed for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch users. This application is intended to manage the Honeywell Ovation Select™ Cabin along with its integrated In-Flight Entertainment and Environmental Controls. Initially, the app is delivered without predefined control screens, as these are tailored to fit each unique cabin setup. When the device connects to the cabin's Wi-Fi network, the Ovation Select™ system transmits customized control screens to the iOS device, contingent upon prior configuration.

• Cabin Specific Designs
  • The Honeywell Cabin Control screens and themes are wirelessly updated when a passenger boards a different Business Jet Ovation Select™ cabin. The app accommodates various user interface configurations tailored to specific roles or cabin zones (such as Passenger, VIP, or Crew, including general seating, lounge, or quarters).
  • Users have the flexibility to switch between different control screen configurations through the application settings.
  • Custom screen and skin designs are created in collaboration with the Honeywell Cabin Applications Group.
• User Interface
  • The application provides visual feedback regarding status, source or content selection, and tracking of selections made on alternate cabin controls.
  • It enables users to manage and monitor various cabin environments, including lighting, shades, temperature, and water systems.
  • A call attendant feature is available for both passenger and crew configurations.
  • When receiving paging and ordinance notifications, the application appropriately restricts certain functions in accordance with the aircraft's specifications.
• Cabin Entertainment
  • The app facilitates content control and source selection for entertainment devices such as iPod docks, disc players, satellite TV, audio video servers, and more.
  • It presents metadata information including playlists, album art, and artist information to enhance content selection.
  • Playback transport controls are readily accessible for user convenience.
  • The application allows for controlling the Ovation Select™ Moving Map Application Jetmap® HD.
